Founder

Founder of Brown Fox Lazy Dog, I am a linguist and wordsmith with over fifteen years’ experience in publishing and translation. I’m an avid reader, word-lover and closet etymologist, with a soft spot for a well-placed apostrophe. No one has time to waste reading sloppy text whether it’s in a thesis, textbook, or on a website: I create and shape correct, concise and compelling copy to engage the audience and meet the aims of you, the client. My career began in languages and progressed on to an MA in Translation. I have worked for the past ten years in publishing, with a focus on ELT schoolbooks. Outside of work I hang out with my husband and young family – dividing our time between Oxford, the Lake District and Berlin.
